Une excellente adresse à Mamer, digne des autres Espaces Saveurs. J'ai passé un moment délicieux, avec une équipe de service aimable, professionnelle et souriante. La carte est effectivement réduite, mais...que du bon. Antipasti, Tagliolini aux girolles et à la truffe blanche fraîchement rapée et café gourmand avec un petit vin de Toscane fabuleux...j'ai adoré ! ...et je reviendrai !

The Knights of Epicurus gathered their members for an evening's repast recently (Aug. 2010) at this new restaurant in Mamer. We were all very pleased with the experience. We sat outdoors on the terrace, protected from the setting sun by large retractable shades. The decor is clean and professional, not over-done. The service was excellent, the waiter spoke fluent English and really knew what he was talking about. We were served by several servers, all very competent but clearly some were more experienced than others. The menu was not large (a good sign), but it was diverse and interesting. Each of us was able to order a different starter and we were all pleased. Some dishes (starters and mains) were form the specials list, some with fresh fish of the day. We particularly enjoyed the monkfish ravioli, the crayfish, and the goat cheese as starters. Dinner was lovely, the various meats all cooked to perfection: a lamb shank melting off the bone, filet cooked "blue", and a veal saltimbocca served rolled up. Top scores for meat, however, goes to the Iberian Pork... succulent! The wine list is much longer than the menu, with only a few bottles offered under 30 euros. Our Pinot Grigio (over 40 euro) was OK, but the red Montalcino was an excellent choice for just over 30. As is the custom of the nights, we ordered deserts and digestifs, which were excellent, we were especially pleased to be offered a complementary round of digestifs at the end. All in all, not an inexpensive option, but certainly a good value. L'Ultimo receives the coveted blessing of the famous Knights of Epicurus!

Très très bon restaurant italien. La carte est bien sélectionnée. Choisissez entre pâtes, poissons ou viandes, vous trouverez sûrement votre bonheur. Si cela vous ne suffit pas, le personnel vous fera une présentation orale de la carte du jour qui offre encore quelques bons plats. Les vins sont majoritairement d'Italie et il y en a pratiquement pour chaque budget. Le service est impeccable et très serviable. Les ingrédients sont d'une fraicheur extraordinaire et garantissent des plats appétissants. Malheureusement après l'entrée et le plat, je n'ai plus pu goûter les desserts :-) En tout une très bonne nouvelle adresse avec une décoration splendide et très tendance. Prévoyez un budget un peu plus grand, mais soyez sûr, vous vous ferez plaisir.
